カタール 湾岸協力会議統一商標法 採用へ

カタールで湾岸協力会議（GCC）統一商標法を採用する実施規則が7月10日付で発効した（2023年決定第56号）。現地法律事務所によれば、本規則はカタールで8月10日から適用される。GCC加盟6カ国全ての商標法がGCC統一商標法に準拠することで、各加盟国の制度の大枠がそろい、ユーザーの利便性が高まる

統一GCC(湾岸諸国協力会議) 商標法

GCC 各国の商標庁は引き続き受理官庁として、国家ベースで商標を登録します。GCC 6 か国にわたって商標を登録するには、6 つの個別の国別商標出願を提出する必要があります。

The adoption of this regulation will change the deadlines and fees for various procedures in Qatar. In particular, procedures for which the period is significantly shortened include the period for correction of documents (6 months from the date of notification shortened to 90 days, Article 6 of the Rules) and the period for filing an opposition (4 months from the date of publication of the gazette shortened to 60 days, Regulation Article 12).
