学校法人瓜生山（うりゅうやま）学園は4月1日、京都造形芸術大学（京都市左京区）を「京都芸術大学」に名称変更した。この変更をめぐっては、「京芸」「京都芸大」などと呼ばれている京都市立芸術大学（京都市西京区）が大きな混乱を招くなどとして、「京都芸術大学」の名称使用の差し止めを求める訴訟を大阪地裁に起こし、現在も係争中。市立側はこの日、赤松玉女理事長が「残念。司法の場で結論が出ていない名称を認知、使用するわけにはいかない」などの声明を出した
