GI静岡 指定

　国税庁は２９日、静岡県の清酒を地理的表示（ＧＩ）制度に指定すると発表した。指定は３０日付。酒類では県内初のＧＩ指定で、都道府県単位では９件目となる。ＧＩは、生産方法や気候などの特徴が品質の特性に結びついている産品を知的財産として登録し、保護する制度。県内２７の全蔵元が加盟する県酒造協同組合が申請していた。国税庁は多様な河川の伏流水を醸造用水とし、端麗で穏やかなうまみのある酒質などを評価した

The National Tax Agency announced on the 29th that it will designate sake from Shizuoka Prefecture under the Geographical Indication (GI) system. The designation is on the 30th. This is the first GI designation in the prefecture for alcoholic beverages, and the ninth in the prefecture.
