農林水産省は２３日、地域の農林水産物や食品をブランドとして保護する地理的表示（ＧＩ）保護制度に、富士市田子の浦沖の「田子の浦しらす」を登録し、田子の浦漁協に登録証を授与した。

田子の浦しらすとは

田子の浦しらすは、静岡県の田子の浦で獲れるしらす（稚魚の一種）を指します。新鮮で美味しいと評判で、地元の特産品として知られています。田子の浦のしらすは、主に春から初夏にかけてが最盛期で、この時期に新鮮なしらすが多く水揚げされます。
