愛媛県が開発した「紅プリンセス」と呼ばれる新しいかんきつについて、県が海外への流出を防ごうと中国と韓国で品種登録を申請していることがわかりました。愛媛県が開発したかんきつを海外で品種登録の申請を行うのは今回が初めてです。
